From 2002 to 2005, Ramon Zürcher attended Bern University of the Arts (HKB), completing an art degree with a focus on video. In 2005, he received the Kiefer Hablitzel Award for Visual Arts for his video work. Since 2006, he has studied directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin. The Strange Little Cat is his first feature-length film.
