Voted as one of the top 12 women achievers in the Global Entertainment industry by Hollywood Reporter and among the top 50 Indians changing India as by India Today, producer Guneet Monga over the years has been finding an alternative audience which is not restricted by region or geography and channelizing the right stream for the Indie effort at a global level.
She has paved the way for Inde Indian cinema globally with her films premiering at prestigious film festivals like Cannes, Venice, Sundance, Toronto, BFI: London and more. She is also among the few Indian producers who is working with some of the largest film sales agencies globally, including Elle Driver, Match Factory, Fortissimo Films amongst others.
She has to her credit some path breaking films including the Oscar nominated short film Kavi directed by Gregg Helvey, Gangs of Wasseypur, Part I & 2 (2012),
Aiyya (2012), That Girl In Yellow Boots (2011), and Shaitan by Bejoy Nambiar (2011). She has also Co-Produced Dasvidaniya (2008) and Trishna by Michael Winterbottom (2011).
