In the busy lanes of 1990’s Delhi, two middle-aged men – a termite exterminator and a photocopy shop owner, have established a unique high-functioning domesticity in their tiny room. This tranquil companionship is suddenly threatened when an eccentric old man arrives with a strange request – a marriage proposal for his daughter.
Shaunak Sen
Shaunak Sen is an Academy Award-nominated filmmaker based in Delhi. His film All That Breathes was nominated at the 2023 Academy and BAFTA Awards and won a Peabody Award, alongside honours at Cannes, Sundance, BFI London, IDA and 24 other festivals. He has served on juries at Sundance, Berlin and Zurich. His fiction short Termite premiered at Toronto in 2026.
