Suruchi Sharma
Suruchi Sharma is an independent filmmaker from Rajasthan, documenting the region’s cultural diversity in her folk film series. A UNESCO-Sahapedia research fellow in 2019, her film, Meen Raag, won an award at the 69th National Film Awards. She directed India’s first folk docu-series, Equals, which received a Special Mention at the IDA Awards 2023.
