Sandhya Suri

Sandhya Suri is a BAFTA-nominated, British-Indian writer-director based in London. Her debut narrative feature, Santosh, premiered at Cannes 2024 in Un Certain Regard. The film, selected for both the Sundance Screenwriters and Directors Labs, was financed by BBC Films, BFI and Arte. Her documentary, I for India, premiered in the World Competition section of the Sundance Film Festival. For her sophomore feature, Sandhya is developing an adaptation of a J.G. Ballard dystopian short story, which she will direct, with financing from BBC Films.
