Amidst the migration of their friends and neighbours for the winter, two widows, Ratima and Kalima, choose to remain behind as caretakers of their empty village. Isolated and snowbound for a hundred days of winter, they rely solely on each other for companionship and support. However, their common past – having been married to the same man for fifty years – often comes up between them. As winter deepens, staying alive becomes a greater priority than their responsibilities as caretakers.
