During a storm in a remote Nepalese village, a mysterious man finds refuge in the house of a family haunted by their father’s disappearance years before. Strangely unwilling to leave, the stranger slowly reawakens lost memories of the missing father.

Kalani Gacon

Kalani Gacon is a filmmaker from Katoomba, Australia, who has lived and worked in Nepal since his teens. His films explore the intersection of East and West, using a community-led approach to storytelling. His latest short, Family Man (2024), won the Audience Award at the Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival and was nominated for the Grand Prix at Clermont-Ferrand.
