This film explores a sex worker’s experiences of love, both within and beyond the realm of her job.
It witnesses Shéhrazade as she tries to reclaim her body and mind from trauma. She plays with form, as she animates a world of thoughts and dreams that the director’s lens cannot capture.

Born and raised in India, Mantra Watsa recently graduated from the DocNomads Masters Programme in documentary filmmaking. They are passionate about collaborative, community-driven projects. Their latest film, Et Moi, Je Revis (Coming Back to Life), had its World Premiere at Hot Docs 2024.
