Raju, a young man, works in a slate mine in the high mountains. Life is a hard, monotonous grind of breaking stones and making tea for his companions, until one day a new worker joins the team. Everyone except Raju takes to this young boy who proves more adept at making tea than him. Initially antagonistic towards him, Raju changes his feelings when he accidentally discovers the young boy’s secret. Filmmaker Sanjeev Rattan’s first feature film is a sweet account of love and life in and around his hometown, the slate-mining village of Khaniara near Dharamshala.
