Tarun Jain has created four short films, including Mother (Amma Meri), which addresses the agrarian crisis in Haryana, India. Premiering at the Tampere Film Festival in Finland in 2018, it has also screened at International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, and the Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF), where it won six awards.
