An elderly couple lives a quiet life in a remote village in Assam, their household pervaded by an atmosphere of absence. One morning, a young boy arrives, selling winter clothes, and talks about his home, three states away.
Originally from Nalbari, Assam, Mukul Haloi is currently studying at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. His previous shorts include Kunu Eta Swopnojonito Karonot (2013), Sand Dunes and a Lullaby (2014) and On Memory and Forgetting (2015).
