In a rustic village near Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, a young boy is haunted by guilt after the death of his mother. Consulting his guru, he enquires into the concepts of ‘self’, consciousness, suffering and free will.
Prabhjit Dhamija was born in Ambala in 1974. After studying engineering, he travelled extensively and then settled into filmmaking. He began by making advertisements and, after Asmad, co-wrote and co-directed the feature Kathputli, which is currently in post-production.
